The fine print on fine print ......

" i would love to enter these current competitions,but the print is so minute on the enteries ,it can't be seen." (Rhondda)

Fine print has always fascinated me, and in my book (okay, another plug) I did happen to mention that often print is of small font simply to keep 3 full pages of information contained into the one quarter page entry form.

But on the web things are different. We still have to keep a reign on the size of font, however I'm surprised that so many website owners stick to tiny print not just for legal copy but for everything else.

With competitions, this is especially true around entry form details. Message to promoters, you're not going to get people to enter your comps if they can't read the information you're asking them to provide.

Fortunately a simple solution is at hand. Annoying but simple. If you want to make fonts bigger simply press your ctrl and + button at the same time over and over again until the font is large enough to read. To get back to the same size either reset on the view tab at the top of the screen or press ctrl and - buttons to reduce again.

As mentioned, simple problem and easily solved ..... but how easy would it be to fix in the first place?
