Amy Gillett Foundation

I don't often give special mentions to specific competitions on the blog pages, however I think you'll agree that this one more than deserves a plug.

As an on again-off again cyclist, I'm more than aware of the dangers associated with riding on city roads, especially in the inner city.

The Amy Gillett Foundation promotes a shared respect between motorists and cyclists, in the hope of reducing the average toll of 35 deaths and 2,500 serious injuries.

To further promote the cause, the foundation have launched what is quite a significant competition in which over 200 prizes are on offered, and the major prize being a Mazda2 valued at up to $20,000.

Learner drivers (and driving instructors) can enter, and although this is out of the age range of most of our members, we're sure that most of you will know somebody going through this important process.

What's really astounding is that there's no tickets for sale, this is an entirely free competition aimed at promoting a worthwhile competition.

And the level of prize donation is overwhelming. Congratulations to everyone that has been involved.

By featuring this competition, CompetitionsGuide.com.au are playing only a small part, but we really wish the foundation well!

Yours Comp-letely,
